Hay experts sample bags - how much to feed?

I got 6 bags of tasty hay for olly and honey today, and would like to know if it's ok to give them half a bag each all at once? I know it's just Jay, but all they've had before is pet shop Timothy hay, will it upset their tummies if they aren't used to the new fancy hay? :?

I would think it would be OK - the more hay the better usually. If you have readigrass among the samples I would go easy with it as it can be a bit rich. You could also try mixing the sample hays with their normal hay to get them used to the new tastes.

Ok thanks I've given them some oat/wheat/barley hay and they can't seem to get enough of it!!

My Spenser likes oat hay too. I actually get his sample bags from Animal Magic as they do them individually (there are some types Spenser very definitely doesn't like :roll. He also likes orchard grass - have you got that one?
