Ive already posted in behaviour but Im about to clean them out so wanted to know. Is compost safe to put in a tray for them to dig in?
 
I dont know, its stuff out of a bag I guess :? I cant even dig up some soil from the garden because its all clay or compost :roll:
 
i asked this recently as i bought a box for mine to dig in.

i was told normal compost is ok just check there are no pesticides etc in there. if you can find my post 'digging pit' it might help to see the answers i got.

I have a feeling that its just multipurpose compost from B&Q but I cant find anything on the site that says if it has pestacides or not. Ive called my dad but hes busy so Im not sure Im right about the type :?
