Wee problems from snuggle bun

My house rabbit, Mr Bubbles has taken to weeing on me when he is on my knee. He is 5 and a half, and has been neutered since little.

I keep other buns and thought to begin with that he was just claiming me as "his". He doesn't seem to be purposely be weeing on me though.

He is a huge snuggle bun, and when he is getting his snuggles, he gets really relaxed. He sometimes then just wees (and poops), and keeps lying in it. I sit with a puppy pad on my knee now, so it's not a nuisance like it was.

In his cage he is fine, no accidents at all.

Any ideas?

Considering his age it might be worth popping him to the vets for a check up at some point - not urgently but first thing next week if you can, he may have a UTI or spinal problems, or need some bloods run just to check all is well. Otherwise you could be right and that it is just him marking you if he smells other buns. x

ETA of course the other possibility is that he just relaxes so much on you that his sphincters just aren't what they used to be! :?
