Exactly. Younger friendlier specific breed rabits can often go very quickly whereas older shy crossbreeds could be there years. Other times it can be completely random as sometimes people will overlook the younger bunnies in favour of oldies. It all is completely random.
It depends how good the rescue is aswell as some go out there way to find homes one so-called rescue thats now shut down wasn't bothered about the small animals and some had been there for 7-8 years stuck in a cage in a dirty dark shed.
I would say it depends on the rabbit. Diego who I adopted was in rescue over a year because he didn't like people or other rabbits. Max is long haired so has been waiting a while to. Depends on the colour and personality sometimes.
