Hello fellow bunny lovers! Thank you for Reading my thread...I would really like some help with my rabbit Midge...he is 4 years and a dwarf cross breed. He was constipated for a few days and I thought it resolved itself once I gave him dandelion leaves as he passed a few mushy droppings. I took him to the vet today in case and it's like he's gotten worse the vet examined him and said it didn't feel like constipation and that there was no gas. She said he looked well, was of average weight although I did tell her he looked thinner to me. She injected metoclopramide and gave me panacur, baytril and supreme science foodmix. When Midge got home he stayed in his pet bed and kept moving around, stretching, looking uncomfortable. He drank a lot of water! He stayed that way for a few hours then munched on some of his usual mix. Then he ground his teeth for around ten minutes. Now he is sitting by the radiator, looking uncomfortable again, like he's straining really hard. I'm worried - is this normal after receiving medicine? And how long will it take for him to recover? Feedback is much appreciated *bunnyhug*
