or is it a waste of money now that its warmer?

I would buy it, its also anothe small hutch out of the way from people who think its OK to keep buns in.

I have to say mine just used it as another toilet though

Do you want to use it for rabbits? I don't think they would like the smell of ferrets very much. If you just need a shelter for inside the shed, you could build your own one. Or at least get a hutch that has been used for bunnies or piggies before and is clean.

Aparently its pretty strong.

They are a predator so buns might find it unsettling.

There was one in the vet when I went once. The reek coming off this wee beast was foul and very strong.
