Straw - wheat, oat, barley..which is best?

Hi guys

What is the best type of straw to bed your bun on? Mine is on Ezibed shavings and then a layer of straw which he nibbles on as well as his hay.

Which is best in your opinion?

I don't use straw or woodshavings at all, just hay and newspaper :wave:

i find straw too rough and then you got that possibility of damage to the eyes
i asked the same question myself some time ago but i had fur type rabbits and thought it would be cleaner for them
i didn't work for me
i just use hay now but i'm sure you'll get differing opinions

I must admit I only use hay, but my new bunny was on straw so I don't want to change anything yet...keep everything the same until he has settled in.
