Bedding?

My rabbits will live in a hutch when I get them, and I don't know what bedding to use. I've heard woodshavings is bad and they can cause respiratory problems, so I know I should stay away from them, what else could I use? Or would it be ok if I put newspaper, then some woodshavings, then lots of straw and hay on top so they weren't walking on the woodshavings too much?

I use Megazorb litter and then hay on top.

I would just use newspaper, then straw then hay. I use this and it works great! :wave:

Megazorb works great for us with a thick layer of hay on top. :thumb:

I use straw and shredded newspaper in the bedroom area and wood pellet cat litter and hay in litter trays. Have used Magazorb as litter and it is really good but I don't really have room to store it at the moment.

Thank you for the help I think I'm going to try hay and straw but if that doesn't work I'll try megazorb.
