Frozen Veg

Indy

Warren Scout
The manager at work has bought some cheap frozen veg and has been defrosting it (dont know if its been completely defrosted...) and given it to the guineas and hamsters.

I know obviously if its not completely defrosted its a definite no... but is it ok?

I dont see the problem with buying them fresh as they're allowed a few quid on veg per week... But he's adamant that his way is fine...

I wouldnt ever give any of mine defrosted anything, it cant do them much good it goes all soggy anyway once it has thawed. x

Wouldn't give mine anything frozen just in case
of an additives. It's just not got the goodness in it anymore. If he wanted to get cheap veg, farm shops are the best way to go! Super cheap, often organic and fresh! :)
