Pud....The Early Days.

Tuckerbunnies

Wise Old Thumper
Pud was originally named 'Pup' and lived outdoors until his owner became pregnant and then he was up for rehoming.
They used the same vet's as us and the staff at the vets rang us to see if we could help in finding him a home and so we rang Gwen at Bunny Burrows and she said she would take him.
We collected him from the vets all we knew from the owner was he was black and white with floppy ears what she failed to tell us that Pud was on a course of Ivermectin injections for mites on his ears and back and he had a very bad nasal infection and his nose was so sore and he was sneezing constantly.
The vet had said that although the owner had brought him in on several occasions and he was put on medication they didn't think she could handle him to give him his meds and so his nasal infection was not getting any better.
We knew that the nasal infection may possibly be an ongoing problem which it is and so we decided to keep him .
Oh and he was nicknamed 'the Demon' at the vets as he was such a problem to give medication to.
It certainly wasn't an easy task trying to get medicine down him but eventually Mike won.

This was taken in November 2008 and we hadn't had him long.

You can see how sore his nose was and look at his little sad face.

He has turned out to be one of the funniest, gentle and loving buns out of all of our furry gang.
