I just googled and found this

http://www.langfordvets.co.uk/SAP/how_to_find_us.htm

I don't know if this is of any use to you?? Had a quick scan through the staff page and they all seem to specialise in small animals

Hope this helps, sorry if not xx

Yes, I was going to suggest Bristol Animal Hospital too, but they are about 45 mins away from Gray and depending on the situation, that may not be ok for the bunny, but potentially he could call them and talk to them and if its too far, then see if they can recommend anyone nearer.

Our vets out of hours aren't answering.

Langford ill try shortly.

I'm worried about ginger as she's been sneezing bucket loads and its become white now  only once but I need to speak to a vet who's bunny savvy.

I don't really know whereabouts Gray is in Somerset :(

I wish we could help Graham :(

Maybe if you could tell us what is wrong someone may be able to offer some advise?

Try not to panic too much about that Gray, as long as she is ok in herself. Panicking won't help either of you. Yes, its not great, and she needs a vet, but if you can't get hold of one tonight and she is ok in herself then she should be fine until tomorrow. If she isn't ok in herself then obviously keep looking for someone.

Sorry I didn't see this when I replied, grab the yellow pages and call all of the local surgeries to see if you can get hold of any, if you don;t know any that are particularily bunny savvy you might be able to find one this way??

Stay calm and try not to panic, lots of vibes, keep her warm and comfortable with plenty of fluids xxx

Sorry but I don't know who you usually use - is Blakes your normal surgery ? If not, they'll be worth a try I should think ;)

Got hold of my regular vets finally. They Echoed your post basically Sky.

She seems okay now. She just seemed to be getting really distressed with the sneezing but she's settled now and is in the hallway in the litter tray nomming with Biccy.

Just as I'm typing this she's done a HUGE binky.

I'm to take her back again on Tuesday. When my regular vet can see her and he's very rabbit savvy.

Hope shed okay.

Thanks to all who posted. Going to save those sites.

That's good. I've found if any of mine have sneezing fits (which is generally down to hay dust, but can lead to irritated airways) that a dose of Metacam for a couple of days can help- this is what my vet advises I do. Maybe you could discuss something similar with yours? Obviously that wouldn't solve the whole problem, but might work in conjunction.

Only just seen this sorry. I would always go for Langford vets next if your local one is unavailable Gray. Up the M5 it shouldn't take too long at all to get there from Burnham, 20 mins

Hope Ginger feels better soon x

ETA also how about the Quantock Vets in Bridgy? Colin Cheetham's practice? I have no idea how rabbit savy they are however. :? Which is why I'd go to the Bristol vet school at Langford as 2nd choice.

Hi Gray how's Ginger now? How's the sneezing?

We had a sneezy bun once......did all we could but couldn't stop the sneezing, but as she was fine in herself we just settled for monitoring it. Hopefully she just had a foreign body up her nose like Tilly had the other night.

She seems okay again but has had another sneezing fit earlier but nowhere near like last night.

Discharge is clear now too.

Going back to vets anyway Tuesday to see what they can do.

Try not to worry too much Gray, Widget is snuffly and sneezes a bit but she's still okay in herself (binkies, eats well etc) so if Ginger is the same then just keep an eye on her I guess and see your vet when you can.

Good luck Tuesday, hope Ginger is ok and it's just something that's irritated her.
