Rabbit Health Book

wally4eva

Mama Doe
I'm looking for a good book on rabbits health and so on and I seem to remember that lots of people on here have a big book that they said was good, I remember people posting pictures of their bunnies reading book:?

Anybody know which book I'm talking about, or have I gone mad? :? :p
Or anybody recomend some good rabbit health books?:)

Thanks

So do I, but I guess it depends on what you want. The second one is way cheaper which is obviously a big plus, but it assumes a much higher initial level of knowledge. It's mostly lots of bullet points of symptoms, possible causes and treatments, whereas the first one gives a lot more explanation and text on all of the 'whys' and 'hows' as well as the 'what', if you see what I mean...

i would dearly like to add this one tho

richard saunders is based at bristol bunny clinic..hes been so helpful to consult with our vets via xrays..necropsy results...and meds and right dosage for the coccidia that was in dazy-maes liver and bile duct to help her sister and our two boy buns by giving them baycox.

hes faxed a copey of a paper he had printed on instestinal coccidia...i asked my vet and she sent me a copy too..knowing how interested i was:oops:

ooh forgot..we have this one too

this is the book you will more often than not see in a vets consult room
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Medicine-Su...1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1293751639&sr=8-1-spell

some vets have access to this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Textbook-Ra...1_fkmr2_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293751465&sr=8-1-fkmr2

but pricewise and normal owner speak..then i recommend the first two thoroughly....the houserabbit handbook i got from the rwa site a few years back now..but look for it on ebay etc.

that second edition book is the one you usually see on the vets bookshelf..so i guess it must be good...anybody have this book?
