Wood Flooring?

Does anyone have buns on real wood flooring or laminate indoors? Do you put a layer of lino etc over it for the buns to run on in case of accidents?

I would definately protect both with something. Buns would be able to nibble at the joins in both of them and ruin it!

REal wood flooring will stain if they pee on it, laminate will absorb the urine in the cracks and it will expand and therefore be ruined. covering it with lino dpending on how you lay it could either ruiin the floor if you glue it down, if it is not glued they will try and get the corners and pull it up!

Ideally you need to free lay lino on it and keep them away from the edges.

I could expand the runs round the lino then just keep the lino a little over. Is there anything i could put on the side to stop any pee running off the lino?
