bringing the rabbits in for 1 night?

I live in the middle of a town and I'm quite worried about NYE fireworks down on the seafront (not far at all) so was thinking about bringing the buns in to a coldish room for the night.

They are still loud in the house so I'm thinking it might actually be more stressful to bring them in for the night than to leave them out?

Would it even be ok to put them back outside after a night in?

any advice much appreciated, can't make these kinds of decisions on my own!

As long as the room is cool then I dont see why not especially if your buns are bothered by fireworks its the better of the two evils (not suggesting bringing them in is evil btw!) It has started to warm up again anyway the last day or so so it wont be quite such a drastic temp change

Thanks for putting this up never thought about this.

I brought my two in for 5th November and they were fine being put back out later that night.

Thanks

I was going to bring mine in for the 5th but they decided to do the big display on the bloody 4th

IMO I wouldnt bring them in in with the intention to put them back out afterwards, not at this time of the year.

Yes it would be absolutely fine.

P.s I've done this with my dental buns who stayed in a few nights after dentals in the coldest of weathers we have had recently. They went back out fine.

I had to bring mine in one night and was worrying about when they could go out again but I kept them in a cool room with no heating and the window open a bit and they went back out the next morning fine so I think they should be ok if you bring them in as long as the room isn't warm :)

i would have thought in a cool room you would be ok - they might not even need to stay in all night just from 8ish to 1am ish??

we have no idea what libby will be like with fireworks, duke was a little bothered when he was on his own in november but hopefully now he has libby he will be fine. they are inside with us anyway so we will watch them closely :)

good luck - hope its ok :)

I have brought Murphy indoors for the odd night during the winter, just turned the heating off in the room where he was. He was fine, so don't think it will cause a problem.
