whats the rspca minimum accomodation sizes

It is 6ftx2ft with a 6ftx4ft run for all rabbits, whether SINGLE or a PAIR. We were not allowed to adopt either of our RSPCA buns who were both single buns without providing the minimum 6ft accomodation.

The RSPCA are in agreement with the RWAF on minimum accomodation sizes.

There isn't an official one. The minimum should be 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch with 6ft x 6ft run.

There is for some branches and it is as above.

H/O don't publish an official one no, but have been assured by RWAF in the past that they are in agreement with them.

Individual branches set their own policies so they do vary too though, there is one round here which asks for a 6*2*2 hutch attached to a 10ft run :)

Nationally the RSPCA guidelines don't specify a size - but they helped to draw up the rabbit code of practice for the Animal Welfare Act and these just say that the rabbit should be able to take at least 3 hops from end to end, be able to lie down stretched out from front to back and stretch up on its hind legs without touching the ceiling (Welsh code of practice - there is no English one yet).
