New Kit
I wonder if anyone can help, this started last thursday. I have 2 rabbits they are sisters that we adopted about 3 and half years ago, they are about 7 years old now. They have been living in the house for about 6-8 weeks now ( they lived in the shed before)I bought them a new cage and a new toilet ( spoilt bunnies)Their old toilet was red so i never noticed if this has happened before.Last thursday was the first time i'd seen this blood it was also over the hay. I rang the vet who didn't have an appointment that evening but gave some advise, she said to take away their food as it could be that ( they were on russel rabbit) said it could be that they are not eating it all so to try pellet food, anyway left them eating just hay till sunday then got some pellet food(excel) this blood seemed to dissapear and i've just cleaned out the whole cage again with fresh hay and its there again. Scruffy is a happy bunnie and loves food and is drinking plenty comes out for a bit of excerise and doesn't seem unwell at all. Could this just be that she's in season ???? this would be the first time in 3 and half years i've seen this, sorry if this seems a dumb question but i've never had rabbits before i adopted these. Just wondering to take away the pellets again, has anyone else experienced this
