Bottle snugs?

Do they work well?
When my four go outside again I was thinking of getting some.
Iv'e used cardboard with a sock round but didn't really do much even with a heatpad underneath.
P@H actually have some in stock so was going to get a few but don't want to buy 3 to find rhey work just as uselessly as my good old socks :lol:

I find that it's the ball bearing that freezes at the end and the water is still fluid in the bottle - I can't see how a bottle snug would help! I just find icicles hanging off the end of the spout! :evil:

I think they are marginally better...

The buns water bottle didn't freeze once last year when I used it, including during the snow at the beginning of the year, but this time the whole bloody thing has frozen solid :evil::roll:

I have seen insulated water bottles, I don't know if they work any better
