Exercise?

Do you think rabbits should have exercise little and often or just once/twice a day for a long time?
Do some breeds of rabbit need more exercise than others?

However, if not possible then dawn and dusk are the best times to let them have exercise. Often rabbits get put in the run in the afternoon and this is not their most active time of the day. Mine are normally to be found sleeping in the afternoon.
 
It was recommended to me that they should have at least 4 hours exercise a day, is that enough?
If they were able to use the run they could go out all day :)
 
Depends on how big the area they are shut in is. The recommended is 6x2x2 for the hutch or enclosure with an attached run of 6x4 so 36 sq ft.
