frozen water bottles.

liquid glycerin will stop the water freezing as long as it stays over -10 but the spouts are troublesome!

a pair of thick socks over the bottle helps but the spouts still freeze up, I have been out checking water bottle every hour or so.

if the rabbits are in a hutch, then cover the front of the hutch with duvet covers. I put 3 duvet covers over my hutch and their water hasn't frozen yet (and it's got to -8C round here).

It's the spout of mine that has frozen. I just make sure before I go to bed that it is working and then have a bowl of water in the shed. Surly they'd have the sense to drink from the bowl if they were really thirsty - wouldn't they??
