Since bonded my two eat about the same as yours Gray, I think Carlo taught Bobby in fact:wave:
My bun eats none ;( i have tried diff ones now ones with bits added i have tried starving him ( not literally ) no pellets , but no he wont eat it and thats why he has very bad teeth bunny.
My Bobby didn't eat much before she was bonded, is yours a lone bun, maybe needs teaching from one of his own kind..
Hmmm, my two also not eating anything like that amount...only giving them one standard ceramic rabbit bowl of pellets a day between two of them (3m old netherland dwarfs) and it's empty every day after breakfast...
Need to think of different places to put it I reckon.
I really do think that bonded buns seem to eat more hay, maybe it's because they get taught it
Spenser doesn't eat anything like his body size in hay daily, but is nomming it much better now. If I get my way and am looking for a friend for him next year I'll look out for a good hay-nommer. At the moment I'm going through one pack of Morrison's hay a week, a sprinkling of readigrass daily and the same from one of the Animal Magic sample bags.
What does this mean? Like a pile of hay that is as big as their body? :?
