Thoughts about this heater?

Do you think this would be OK in the bunny shed? We have a dog kennel that is 6 x 8 and it would be on a timer so it did not get too hot.

We have had tubular heaters in a 6 x 4 wendy house previously but they are not making much difference in the bigger living area.

The 6 x 8 bit has a shutter at the top and perspex at the bottom so closed in of a night and when it is cold.

ETA - or one of these, would it be safe:

There's no way I'd use either of those in a bunny shed I'm afraid. Because the elements are exposed via the convection holes, hay/straw etc could drop onto the element and cause a fire. I wouldn't use any type of convection heater in a wooden structure, especially one which contains dried grasses.

Also, because they do get that much hotter, you'd be doing more harm than good by having it on a timer to come on and off because the buns would never grow their coat to the right thickness to be comfortable at all times. Personally I'd stick with the tubular heaters which may just take the chill off very slightly, or not at all.

Thanks, never thought of the hay getting in and the up down temp. Doh..... So obvious when you stop and think.

We do normally just use the tubular heaters which I am comfortable with as they also have the safety shut off, think maybe I will just get some longer ones now we have the bigger dog kennel that they sleep in.
