Grinding teeth

When I cuddle Sam, he seems to grind his teeth. Why is he doing this? Is it and emotional response to the cuddling?
Is he enjoying the cuddling or not? He does seem quite relaxed.

In my book it says either contentment or pain.

My bunny does it when hes almost falling asleep during noserubs

Im guessing as its during cuddles its him just being happy

Well, he dosnt seem to be in pain so I guess hes happy!! That is good!!

i read once that there are two types of grinding one is very loud and fast painful teeth grinding and another is more like a purrr which is content and vey happy

My Oscar does that too but only when I am fussing him or when he is cuddled up to Pandora so I am sure it's because he's happy

Bernard does this a lot too it means they are happy

Yep, they do it when they're happy. He must like cuddles
