When does a rabbit become adult

When does a dwarf rabbit become classed as an adult for feeding purposes and what are the best pellets to feed?

I can only go by my past experience when I raised a litter of rescue buns, I fed Excel junior and dwarf for baby bunnies and then at about 10 weeks started to introduce science selective pellets. Excel adult is also a good food, but I have just always preferred SS.

Introduce adult feed very slowly over about 2 weeks.

How old is your bun?

The Junior feed says it is for up to four months, but I think its ok to feed it whilst they are still growing (which will be up to about 6-7 months or a bit longer).

When you change, make a gradual transition over no faster than two weeks.

adult for a nethie is about 6 months ish. But they continue to fill out for a wee while after
