Squizz
Alpha Buck
We have two large rabbit hutches in our few gardens stood on paved areas. My husband has made raised wooden platforms for the buns so that they are off the cold slabs, and if rain runs in have a dry seat.
A few months ago I saw a mouse under one of the platforms whilst cleaning the hutch. He took one look at me and legged it, & I hadn't seen him since. Today whilst cleaning the other hutch I found 4 mice under the platform (they are very cute!)
Now, I don't have a problem with mice, but am a bit concerned about them breeding like crazy and taking over! But more that they could carry disease / attract mites that would be a risk for the buns. Do I have anything to worry about?
If not, I am happy to let them lodge there rent free
p.s If they are a problem I will lay humane traps and try and take them to a local nature reserve.
