2 buns have died in my area from VHD , so they have sent a letter to all bunny mummies to make sure they have their VHD vaccine & to remind them that they have changed to the new forumla as they weren't happy with the side effects of the old one


I love my vets

no it never said, but I am guessing in will be lapinject ? but I will ask them when Anya is in for her spay tomorrow to make sure

Nice to hear that the vets are being proactive.

With our VHD outbreak it went in the local papers, and I've been taking a lot more bookings at the charity clinic for vhd jabs following the publication, so it's good to know that something positive is being done with our sad news.

Yeah it's in something other than mineral oil which apparently is what causes the problems to rabbit and potentially to the vet giving it. Mine had it in October and we had no side effects at all - not even lethargy which they normally get.
