Awwww that's quite sweet they look all loved up.

I want to go. Have most of the babies been born now?

To answer your questions (I can't do multiple quoting ), this is not a pup but a young female. Just to be sure, this is a pup:

Around 500 have been born so far. The wardens expect the peak to be reached in about two weeks' time.
The pictures were taken at Donna Nook in Linconshire! :)

ahhh! I thought it was a mummy and baby glad you corrected me :thumb: wow 500?! I cant wait to go back in december :D

Oh wow, lovely pics :) I haven't been over in years, I used to go all the time since it's about a 45 min drive from my parents house. I still can't get over how close you could get to the babies there...

Judging by the wounds on his back that male's earned his breeding rights.

You are very observant! :) I didn't notice the wounds until you pointed them out to me. I was too shock by seeing something else - thankfully not visible in the photos. Let's say that the male was very well endowed!

Some are less than a meter from the fence. :)

Just seen this post & am so excited as I'm going up on Wednesday, staying in Louth for a couple of nights, & will go so see the seals - can't wait.
