Christmas boarding

Tiabrac

Alpha Buck
I have been asked to look after some house buns over the Christamas period but they are not vaccinated, mine are do you think it waould be ok to take them? I just want to be sure I'm not putting mine at risk.:?

That's why I am worried he said that all the places he had tried said no.

So why can't they be vaccinated? That would make the bunnies safe and the owner could board them happily at a specialised establishment?

We don't take in any rabbits that aren't vaccinated and they have to be done at least 2 weeks prior to arrival so if the owner wants to board he needs to get cracking - maybe by you saying no to having them it would force the owner into doing the right thing?

Could they get them vaccinated now, before they come? There is enough time for all to be vaccinated and the vaccine working before Christmas.

I haven't spoken to him only emails, he said he was reluctant to vac. :?

I will ask him why and take it from there.

Sounds like a great plan.

So many people think that (or are advised by some vets and some rescues:evil:) ) that if they are house rabbits it's not necessary. Of course we all know that it is, because of the way that the diseases are transmitted.

Good luck, and I hope that your friend will get the buns done.:D
