Bunny arriving on Monday so I need to make a housing decision :)

My bunny is now going to be an indoor bun and I am allowing her to be free range when im in but need a base and a run for her while I am out of the house.

My plan:

I am hoping to buy a 42" dog crate as her base (eventually making it two levels as I have seen on here) and then i thought of getting this run:

I would open one of the doors and attach it to dog crate so she had constant access to both areas - do you think this is a suitable idea? I have chosen this run to protect the carpet as we are in rented accommodation. Also which of the size runs would you recommend?

Ive got one of those green playpens, there really good but rabbits could chew it easily

for me personally i just prefer the same/similar thing in metal only because of the chewing/weeing issue :wave:

So the material run is only suitable when supervised really?
