Can someone recommend a rabbit-savvy vet in Manchester? It's for a friend of mine who wants to get their new female bun speyed, she was planning to take her to the Pets @ Home instore vet but I've persuaded her to let me try find a proper rabbit-savvy vet for her first.

She lives in Salford, but is able to get to anywhere in Manchester that a train or a tram will go to if it means finding a good vet.

Thanks!

aidan at ashleigh vets, whalley range. he is amazing.

Also Sarah Pellet at Ashleigh. ;)

Aiden is amazing but I'm still annoyed at him, I saw him and he said Lola was fine the same night I saw him Lola was at PetMedics and kept in an oxygen tank over night. If she hadn't have been she wouldn't be here now. So you can understand why I'm abit grrr! :(

Though with dentals and everything else he's been fantastic. It's Sarah that dealt with lola's RTI after Aiden's flaw.

Ashleigh Vets are amazing, I always see Aidan (the exotic specialist), Sarah is training to be a specialist and also very good. He saved my rabbit George's life after he had a terrible abcess that wrapped around a nerve in his front leg. He wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes at a rubbish vet. :)

or regans vets, i use the one in radcliffe, they where great with rosie

or vets4pets in bury

There's one near Heaton Park that my sister used and I took Grim there when he ran into my leg, but I can't remember what they're called... d'oh. It's right in the middle of a row of shops...

I'm another who agrees that Aiden at Ashleigh Vets is the best in Manchester. I'm up in Littleborough now so it's too far to travel and am currently using Briar Dawn who seem very good :)

Thanks so much guys! I had done a search myself and come up with Ashleigh's but thought it was best to ask! It is not too far either :D When looking closer to home the nearest vet to me would neuter a cat for £5 which was a bit worrying! I have a new hutch on order for her, so I will wait till that arrives before I take her in. I know she will have to stay inside for a while if she needs neutering but I want her to have her nice new home when she does go back out so she doesn't hate me too much! And then I can hopefully sort her out with a new Husbun!
