Rabbits really are so delicate and can easily get caught up in a collar. I would strongly advise against using one. Can you train him to come when called using his favourite treat or rattling his pellets. Rabbits soon learn to come for nom noms!

Collars are really not a good idea for rabbits and I think he is telling you this with his chewing. Can you not block of little hidey holes that you don't want him to go in instead?

Like Milo+Fizz said rabbits soon come when called if they know they'll get some food :D
