Pet Sitter in Leeds

Could anyone recommend a pet sitter who works in Leeds?

Its for Christmas day. I booked a professional looking pet sitter based around the corner from me to look in on my rabbits, but they haven't turned up to the appointment to discuss the rabbits/their care - so I don't trust them to turn up on Christmas day! :censored:

I don't really want to board them, because it is literally only for one day and if necessary my OH will drive back to check on them.

Jennifer is lovely. We've only used them for a day or two at a time but they've been reliable and they pop by first to pick up a key and find out what needs doing etc.
 
Have you contacted RubyGordy on here, I think she does a dogwalking and pet sitting service in the Leeds area but dont know if it extends to buns. Or you could pm Hannah at CampNibble and see if they know of anyone as they are in that area too.

These guys are literally around the corner from me and I never knew they existed....lol.
Fab news for future hols :) my parents usually come over but im sure they would appreciate some help so they didnt have to trek over so much xx
 
pet sitting in Leeds

Does anyone in Leeds (North Leeds if possible) want to share holiday cover? I have two buns (bonded), I usually pay a pet sitter to come in but she isn't very experienced with buns and her comments concern me. She texts every morning to say "they were ravenous" as if I'm not feeding them enough, fact is they are just greedy and get very excited at feeding time! She also allowed one of them to escape into the garden once :-/

If any of you live near by I think it could work for us and save us both money - I'll come round and see to your bunny's whilst you're away (or they can come and live with me if you prefer) and you see to mine whilst I'm away?

I can't send mine to bunny boarding as my boy can get territorial over my girl and they start to fight when there are other males in close proximity. He is very calm at home though :)

I've thought about trying to set something like this up before, but we do board ours if more than a couple of days as they are indoors and they don't get much free-range with a sitter just popping in.

It would be useful for us if we're just away for a weekend or something though, as that's the sort of thing we do use the sitter for. I'm not in north Leeds though so probbaly not ideal.
 
hmm, I'm in LS17, perhaps that wouldn't work then! bit too far to help each other out! If you hear of anyone in north leeds please let me know!
 
Where abouts in Leeds are you looking for a pet sitter? I can only suggest looking at pet sitting portals such as tendea . They have a large selection of pet sitters in Leeds and have always been good. Gd luck

I'm a petsitter but am based in north Leeds and can't get over to Morley, unfortunately.

You could try a friend of mine - another Roz - who is Bramley based who might go that far - she runs Petmates http://www.pet-mates.co.uk/. Not sure if she's used to doing rabbits or not.

Or possibly The Pet Nanny who I'm pretty sure cover south Leeds. There are a few of them so more flexible in areas they cover. http://www.thepetnannyleeds.co.uk/

Im not a pet sitter but I do seem to end up with a variety of friends pets over the summer for holidays. I am in Cleckheaton so not far from Morley and would happily pop over to 'do' your animals for you if you have no joy with the pet sitters.
