my chickens had a large shed with 6ft run attched but it got waterlogged so theyv gone to my uncles,if i removed top layer of muck and put paving slabs down would it be safe for the buns?id make sure it was completley disenfected firstly and it would probably be after xmas before they went in it but i want make sure it would be safe first?

yes i would think so but what about when the chickens come back and the risk of future waterlogging? x

they staying with my uncle as he has a 2 acre field.im getting a giant plastic sheet to go over the top of the run but raised so stil ventilated.is there anything i can put on the ground kill any germs?

Fresh air and strong sunlight are excellent for killing nasties.

I believe chickens can carry coccidiosis can't they?

i think so,thats what im worried about?if not safe id rather buy another run eb on the safe side

Could you wash down with a bleach solution or steam clean it?
