well as you might be aware i have been trying to bond Finley my boy bunny for a wee while will the rescue took him from me on wednesday and have managed to bond him as a trio now i have a 5ft hutch run combo but unfortnately one of the girlies is a larger girl and i don't feel i have enough room in the actual hutch what with winter coming in and not much acess to the run so i'm looking for a 6ft hutch or larger any ideas would be great. Also budget is around £150 as i have to have the girlies Vhd vax

I agree, a shed would be best and then attach the run :)

But if you really want a hutch then Fife Rabbit Rescue sell 6ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft hutches for £140. I have two and they are very good quality.

The stand is removable so you could have the hutch lower down and attach the run to it. I think it can be delivered to some local areas but you would need to check.

Oooh! I want one! I suppose the Isle of Wight is a bit too far for local delivery though...

That's a really nice hutch just a shame it doesn't come fitted with bolts.
Which I would have thought it would coming from a rescue.;)

I think the Isle of White would be a bit far  They weigh an absolute ton so would cost more than they're worth to ship anywhere.

The hutches just come built like that with the thumb screws, I am sure they would advise people to add better latches. All the hutches at the rescue have additional, more secure latches fitted and my own do too with added padlocks :)

well i have went through everything and really a shed isnt an option in my garden due to their already being two (dont ask) so i've gone for this which given the 8ft by 4ft run i already have should be ample room to move for the winter months

Have you bought it already? I wouldnt rehome a pair of bunnies to one of those, let alone a trio :( You would be better with a standard 6x2x2ft hutch from animal magic pet supplies, they are fantastic quality and would give more overall sheltered room,

The coop that you are looking offers 8 square foot of covered area. The run area is 21 square feet, this gives a total of 29 square feet. Most rescues look for a total of 36 square feet for a pair of medium sized rabbits. This would be too small for 3 rabbits one of which is a larger than a standard medium sized rabbit.

Over the origional poster's budget but something that size looks good. :)

never go to a rescue to get your rabbits bonded i gave them 1 their giving me 4 back as they have a older bun looking for an older lady who has bonded with my ava i'm amazed at how easy they made it decided against the chicken coop idea and have just gone for

It's all over budget but i'm so glad finley and ava are happy and the 3 new buns are lovely the rescue also have kindly offered to do the injections for me as i'm taking all 3 so the money i was going to put aside can go on better accomodation they'll have free range in the garden in summer so this set up only for winter the runs 10ft plus i already have a 9ft by 8ft custom built run anyway so i should have more than enough room for all of them.

Do you think this would give me enough space?

Lady penelope is a conti cross and morganna is a standard mini lop and finn's a dwarf lop and ava is a medium rabbit and dodo is a nethie they are all together at rescue so hopefully will all be together at home.
