Went to Countryside Live on Saturday in Harrogate and I took these photo's of the Alpacas they have such lovely faces. The one in the middle looked as if he was thinking "Any minute now I'm going to spit on you" :lol:

I love alpacas!

When we first moved to the island, the house we moved into had a big paddock out the back. My Dad said we could get a llama to keep the grass down but it never happened. I've never quite gotten over it... :lol:

I must confess, I didn't actually know what an alpaca was ...

That's what comes of spending too much time at university. :lol:

They are gorgeous. We seem to have quite a few places round here that have alpacas. I'm not sure why, but are they farmed for their wool? I think I have seen quite a few jumpers in shops recently that had alpaca wool in.

But they are lovely-looking creatures.
