Bridgette comes home! (And Leo gets his wifey!)

We went to Nottingham today to pick up Bridgette. Her picture in RIN really didn't do her justice...she is gorgeous! Here are some pics of Bridgette and Leo as the bonding began!

They seem quite comfortable already. Leo did a bit of humping but nothing too major. I think Leo was concerned that she is bigger than him! Bridgette is a very submissive bun! There has been a bit of thumping, but again, nothing out of the ordinary. They are both prepared to groom themselves with the other bun behind them, so they have that trust already. Currently they are both in the cage and I think Bridgette feels at home - she's flopped already! We're all very happy!

Thanks guys! Just had amazing lap time...something we don't have with Leo!!

Just a quick update - day two has passed with no hitches! Came down this morning to find the cage in the middle of the floor and the two of them running around it! Bridgette has made herself quite at home - moved all the bedding out of the way at the back of the cage so she is just lying on the newspaper. Leo has chosen to lay outside on the rug most of the time, although he does pop in to see her every so often. There has only been one episode of humping today - the rest of the time he just goes to see her and check she's OK, there's a bit of grooming or just sitting together! They have been eating hay together and Bridgette has been exploring her new surroundings. Very laid back atmosphere...just as we like it!
