Dried herbs in jars?

just wondered if any of you use the dried herbs from the small jars sprinkled on hay etc of not is this ok just a thought xxx

I would think they would be fine to use. I've used dried herbs in bunny biscuits etc. Though its probably cheaper to buy a big bag of the kind made by Naturals etc etc rather than those you get at the supermarket for cooking.
