... into a little quiff. He's a lionhead cross, and the little mane between his ears has grown a bit during his moult.

Hehe, I love almost-lionheads with tufty bits :lol:
Ruby has that too. In summer her mane is quite short but in winter she gets little wispy tufts. Always makes me laugh.
