Fruits of yesterday's labour!

Here's the pile of jam I made yesterday!

I doubled the recipe but didn't think it would make this much (there's another two large jars not in the photo!)

Had it on toast for my breakfast this morning... yummy!

Got the recipe here http://www.cottagesmallholder.com/blackberry-and-apple-jam-recipe-430 too a fair while to pick 2kgs of blackberries - the apples were from our own tree so I only needed to pay for the sugar, not bad I suppose - works out at about 25p per jar (minus the gas and hard labour to make it :lol!!!
