Rabbit savvy/specialist vets

Mama Doe
Does anyone have a list of all rabbit specialist/savvy vets in the UK? If you do can you please send me it. Thank you! :D

And second Jane's suggestion of Gill Tose in Windlesham.

Some lists of recommended rabbit vets aren't always quite as savvy as they could be IMO. I think some lists have been generated using information submitted by customers where it's more to do with how people percieve they were handled and if the vets were 'nice'. I've certainly found this to be the case with a few practices who weren't as savvy as they were supposed to be.

Claire Power at Downland Veterinary Group

She's by no means as 'expert' as some previously listed, but she's willing to try off licence drugs and anything she doesn't know she'll ask or do her own research.

Which IMO makes her a good Vet :D

Gavin Dean at Haughley (nr. Stowmarket) and Thurston (nr Bury St Edmunds) in Suffolk. Good with both bunnies and piggies.

David at Golden Valley Vets Nailsea Bristol is fantastic. I'm a bit of a serial vet hopper, only the best for my buns, and he is definately the best I have come across in this area. You also have the Bristol Rabbit Clinic at Langford but I think they are referal only.

I only have the one vet here that i trust and would be nice to have an alternative, even if they are a fair distance from Burnham.

Thats them. He's absolutely fab. If he doesn't know he's the first to admit it but will always find out for you. He was really open to me trying Bluebell on piriton even though he didn't have much first hand experience of it and at the mo he is investigating the possibilty of using a sheep pastrella vaccine at a reduced qty for a lady who has had an outbreak. He orders in Lapinject for me no problem. The nurses are pretty good too, they did all the follow up checks for the buns I've had spayed/neutered there.

Excellent, bookmarked and saved in my 'Bunny' document for further info.
