Low Blood Pressure in Rabbits

Has anyone ever experienced this with their bun?

Benji has had biopsies today by keyhole surgery (clicky) and Brigitte Reusch/Lord told me that she has never treated a rabbit with low blood pressure before. :shock:

I was pretty surprised, especially as she is one of the country's top rabbit vets and was the first person to be appointed to the post of Lecturer in Rabbit Medicine and Surgery in Europe last year!

She said she has seen buns with high BP, but never with low. Any thoughts?

EDIT - Actually, now I think about it, she did say that it's not routine to check BP in buns who are having surgery, although things are slowly changing. So maybe it often gets missed if there's a problem. :?

What medication is he on for his gut problems ?

For about the last week (ie, since he was in the hospital last week) he has been on Domperidone, 0.8ml, twice per day; and Metacam, 0.4ml, once per day.

We'd been giving him Metacam at home for a few weeks before that though.
