The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Poko is eating the kitten's biscuits!

Young Bun
My bun Poko has decided she wants to eat the kitten's biscuits. She has munched on a few of them and I've been shooing her away and picking her up and putting her in front of her food area - but she is really insistent on eating the kitten's biscuits!

They both have their own food areas away from each other and she always has plenty of hay and veges and pellets to eat, but now that she has discovered these other biscuits she doesn't seem interested in anything else that she usually loves.

Any suggestions? Both of them run free range around the house and I can't really 'block off' the kitten's food otherwise it will make it hard for him to get to it

How dangerous is it if Poko eats his biscuits? Will they make her really sick? We give him the science diet ones. So far she's only managed to eat a few - not a huge amount.

Very dangerous I'm afraid: the very high levels of protein and fat could lead to serious gut upset or bloat: could the kittens not be confined to a separate room for meals?

we have had this problem:lol:
we have a rabbit called parsley buttons who is an absolute pig:oops:
he will eat anything!
can you put the kittens food on a higher surface like a table?
that way bun cant reach them...

Thanks for the responses!

Looks like we are going to have to buy a small table/stool to put the kitten's food bowls on
