Bonding baby bunnies

I have an 8 week old male rabbit who is starting to get a bit lonely on his own. We have had him for just over a week and have noticed the change in him already. We have decided that we are going to get a friend for him to play with from the same litter. We are picking up the second rabbit (hopefully a girl – I will be getting them both spayed just heard a boy and girl get on better DO NOT WANT BABIES!)up on Friday so by that time they would have been separated for 2 weeks. I am just wondering if the rabbits will remember each other - making it easier to bond them or will it be just as hard?

Any info or help on this would be really helpful!
