Is 21g welded mesh too thin for rabbit runs

I have ordered two rolls of this mesh to build a rabbit run and somebody did point out that it may be too thin.

19g which is 1mm thick is what i would want as a minimum. but in reality i would want 16g even though it costs more.. i have it on my chippie cage and much prefer it to the 19g

i cant find the thickness and i thought 19g was the thinest but yeah i reakon a double layer will be ok, you can always add thicker wire later if your not happy when you see what it looks like

I myself would neer use it again on a run. This week one of my babies got his foot caught in it and as its my flexable than wielded mesh it wrapped itself around the foot ,,She has nere damage and might lose her leg because of it . So please be carful with it
