Would This Work ?

good idea but i have no idea if it would be ok.
its ok to disguise horse wormer, so i would think that it should be ok but someone with a clue will be able to tell you!

Always worth a try though isn't it! Mine love fresh fenugreek, we use it quite a lot in cooking, its quite peppery actually!

What does it look like fresh? Can you just get it in a supermarket or is it specialist?

You can't usually get it supermarkets, its mostly sold in ethnic grocery stores! Sold very cheaply in big bunches! look like this and is often sold under the Indian name 'Methi'

I disguise panacur anyway....its goes in porridge here but Fenugreek is probably quite a good idea :D

I tried it as Beau is an absolute **** for fenugreek crunchies...but he wasn't having it :( that was the powder though, which you can get in supermarkets. maybe the frsh stuff, like Janak suggested, would work?

I'm thinking of growing some Fenugreek next year if I can find the seeds for it. :thumb:

From my animal herbs booklet:

"Fenugreek - (Trigonella-foenum-graecum) Strong aromatic herb and the seeds from the plant are used. The seed can aid in recovery from illness and to encourage weight gain. They can also help in lowering a fever. It is thought to be an anti-diabetic and to help to lower blood cholesterol levels.

WARNING: Do not feed to pregnant animals as it may stimulate uterus contractions"
