  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Any good rabbit vets in West Midlands

Jason Burgess in Quedgeley, Glos. He's brilliant! He's owned rabbits ever since he was young, and specialises in them at Woods Vet Group :) Definitely recommend him :).

This is the main practice we use for Fat Fluffs bunnies. Rebecca Frost is very interested in bunnies and is able to do conscious dentals.

Yes I think it was yourself and Jill Honeybunny who recommended them and we have never gone anywhere else since - Rebecca is fantastic with all our bunnies, especially Starbuck who has dental and tearduct problems, she is soo god with him. (And she always has the Fat Fluffs posters up!!)

He's awesome, and a genuinely caring bloke too, just ask Becky86 as he rang her several times just to ask how Scamp was

I hope he is good/likes cats too as I'm off to see him with my 2 hooligans next week

I use him and Alice from WindWhistle Warren (rabbit and guineapig rescue) uses him when needed. He is fab

Not sure where you are - but Andy Barwise in Evesham is absolutely brilliant - a real rabbit specialist:D
