  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

There is more then likely already a thread like this, but I was just wondering what you give your buns and when..

Like with the rats, they get porridge in the morning, fresh veggies for lunch and usually baby food or chicken and veggie soup for dinner.

With Caprica, i just change her hay and grass in the morning and then give her random bits and pieces through the day, which is why i need ideas! lol

Also, I just realised this is in the wrong spot! Sorry

hi somewhere on the sight there is a link to medirabbit.com probably comes up if you google it and you can download a free 24 page booklet showing all the things you can feed your rabbit and most of them are free i didn't realise how many plants ebony could eat in the garden:D

I may have read this wrong but you're not giving your buns baby food and chicken and veg soup are you?????

I think that is for her rats?

My buns get a TSP of Allen and Page pellets for breakfast, unlimited hay throughout the day, a TSP of Allen and Page pellets for dinner and around 9pm they have a small amount of herbs/veggies.

Ours have constant access to Hay all day, a handful of Allen and Page pellets in the morning and a small amount of green veg at night
