They are both single mane, and very pretty

Our Fuzzy was a doubled maned lionhead, he was a right ball of fluff - hence the name

Yup, they both look single mane. That means they inherited one lionhead gene. Single lionheads have a mane (which they may keep or lose) and sometimes a skirt.

Double mane lionheads have to inherit a lionhead gene from both parents (i.e. both parents have to be lionheads) and they are fuzzier and have a lot of mane and skirt. They also invariably do not lose their 'fuzz'.

I wondered that to, I always assumed Gasket was either a single mane or a single mane cross. Are double manes usually the ones with very short faces like nethies?

Ah so Fudge is single mane without skirt and Evie is single mane with by the sounds of it. Does anyone have any pics of double mane in that case please?

EDIT posted whilst you were typing Liz thank you and wow he was gorgeous

hehe I call double manned mop head bunnies :D I seen I pic of one on here that looked like a haystack- or a bunny version of cousin It but I can't remember who it belonged to
