Please Post Your Photos of the Seaside or the Countryside........

Jack's-Jane

Wise Old Thumper
I cant go on holiday myself and because of stuff going on here I desperately want to get away from the concrete jungle that is 'home'.

So would any RUers be able to do their bit for Help the Aged and post me some piccies of seaside and/or countryside holidays please ? I can then take myself and my Buns on an imaginary escape from ......well........ 'things'........

Thanks in hopeful anticipation :)

Would be a long flight for you and the buns, but here are my pics from Hawaii. My sister and I took my mum for her 50th Birthday. (Took about 4 years of saving!)

I've never been to Norfolk but my friend from school days goes there a lot and she tells me it's beautiful :D

Me and my mum go to the same campsite every year and have the best time, I always think of you and your mum at times like that Jane, it makes me appreciate our time together all the more. Bless my dad too, he tows the caravan there, puts the awning up, sets up the electrics and water...then goes back home again

I can't get away on holidays either so a few photos of where I live. Excuse the quality it was the first day I had the camera.

I haven't been on holiday for years and the last place I went was Canada which was all grey mountains and snow rather than beach and countryside

I have some more local photos though :)

Walking along Hamble river -

On the downs looking across the solent. A few miles from my house (it was winter so it's not very green!) -

And the beach just by my house -

Sorry if they are large - i havent resized them.

Go here in your mind :)

Jack's-Jane - where do you live?

I can't afford a holiday and so we end up just going out for the occasional day, here and there. Maybe that would be more viable for you?

Obviously i dont know your situation, but just an idea - if you like houses/castles, perhaps joining the national trust or english heritage - i agree it's a fairly high initial cost, but you can easily make it back once you have visited a few places :)

Even an afternoon with a small picnic in a local country park can be really relaxing!

My 2 cents worth either way heh :D
