SQUIRT AND DUDE rehomed

these are brothers and to be rehomed together. they will be available for rehoming in a couple of week. they are still only 5 week old but will reserve if anyone is interested.
Squirt is very tame and will walk onto your hand Dude is also tame but a little faster at moving when handled.

these are sisters and are to be rehomed together, 8 week old so are available now.
both were very tame but since being split from the boys and moved out of my living room have become very shy. they just need some interaction and a little time to get them use to being handled again.
dont know who is who cos they seem identical at the moment even in character but below are a pic of each.

MR MAGOO AND BATFINK

These are father and son pair to be rehomed together. mr magoo is approx 10 months old and batfink is 8 weeks. mr magoo was neutered as he came in as we were unsure whether to keep him with son or pair him with a female but he gets on so well with batfink we left them together.
both are reasonably ok to handle but batfink is a little nibbler, not a biter he just likes to test to see if you are edible :lol: hes a real sweetie.

They are gorgeous Tracey. You've done a fantastic job with them. Wonder if Gordon would notice us taking a couple home next month................... :love::lol:
 
wonderful little critters :} really entertaining and very vocal they make so many wonderful different noises and keep you amused all day.

All metal cages are more suitable as they love chewing everything :} you can get specialist degu food but most importanly you have to be very careful with the sugar levels as they are prone to diabetes.They also like a handful of fresh hay and thumb nail size vegatables 3 times a week.
A set of yellow teeth is a sign of good health also. :}
 
opps also forgot there is a fantastic website especially for Degu its called degutopia this site is brilliant for interesting facts on all subjects related to degu care and husbandry.
