Vets near Tidworth, Wiltshire, Andover

Can anyone recommend a decent bunny savvy vets near here? My friend went to the vets with her rabbit today and to be honest they sounded naff!!

Her rabbit presented with a pooey bum and then did solid poos, then had a pooey bum again.

My friend just fed her hay and gave her probiotics and then took her to the vets today. The vet said she had a temp and gavean injection to bring it down. No antibiotics or pain relief or anything else were given.

The rabbit still isn't right and is constantly chewing her mineral stone and has been eating her urine soaked woodshavings in the litter tray.

The vet attempted to check the teeth but struggled to see anything.

Any ideas???

We're in Swindon, Wiltshire. There used to be another exotics vet in Andover but he now circulates between various practices - might be worth her calling round local practices to see if they have him working there from time to time. his name is John Chitty.
